The Santorini flood model is only showing the water levels at the sea. To calculate inundation on land we need a more accurate DEM on land points. Martin Huber from DLR showed preliminary TanDEM-X data for Santorini, which looked a bit noisy for the steep inner slopes of the caldera. Martin said he could probably post-process the raw data if we gave him specific locations of interest to work on.
To this end, three hotspot-locations were identified by Athahanassios Ganas as: Athinios port, Caldera 4 ports and Oia port.
